About the position

The Accounts Payable Clerk position at Robert Half involves managing various finance duties with a primary focus on accounts payable and system processing. The role requires expertise in handling foreign exchange, coordinating with inventory teams, and maintaining vendor communication. The clerk will be responsible for vouching inventory-related items, managing payables for top vendors, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payables for top vendors
  • Match receipts to vendor invoices
  • Verify approvals and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Prepare ACH and Positive Pay files
  • Handle manual check runs
  • Perform monthly A/P closing procedures, including account reconciliations and accruals
  • Provide audit support and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with Accounting Functions
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Demonstrated skills in Data Entry
  • Knowledge of Payroll processes
  • Experience with UKG Pro software
  • Proficient in Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Experience in Check Processing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
