About the position

Kforce has a client in Quincy, MA that is seeking an AP/AR Vendor Solutions Analyst. This role is pivotal in supporting the vendor management team with their goal of strengthening vendor relationships. The AP/AR Vendor Solutions Analyst will be responsible for communicating with an assigned list of vendors to resolve payment inquiries effectively. This involves utilizing an internal ticketing system to pick up cases, analyze the origins of discrepancies, determine what information is needed to solve these issues, and develop strategies to mitigate similar problems in the future. Additionally, the analyst will handle some vendor bookings as part of their responsibilities. This position requires a proactive approach to vendor management and a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the vendor management team in strengthening vendor relationships.
• Communicate with assigned vendors to resolve payment inquiries.
• Utilize the internal ticketing system to pick up cases and analyze discrepancies.
• Determine necessary information to resolve issues and mitigate future occurrences.
• Handle vendor bookings as needed.

Requirements

• AP/AR/Accounting background, well versed in invoices.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Moderate Excel skills required; Pivots and VLOOKUPs preferred.
• Ability to handle escalated cases.
• Ability to manage large amounts of data.
• SAP experience preferred.
