About The Position

The AP Clerk - Data Entry position at Seed to Table in Naples, FL is a full-time role focused on supporting the Accounts Payable department. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, manage supplier queries, and maintain effective communication with various departments. Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable Experience, preferably in transactional accounting.
• Intermediate and above skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise is required.
• Proficient in computer skills, primarily Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations from the data.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a grocery store or retail environment.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtains supplier invoices, receiving documents, and other supporting documentation, then examines, codes appropriately, and posts to the accounting system.
• Handles all supplier A/P queries and follow up.
• Coordinates and resolves with receivers and department heads all cost discrepancies and tracks cost changes, providing analytical analysis of such.
• Responds to vendor inquiries and resolves any payment-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepares hand checks as needed.
• Prepares AP aging listing with notes for management.
