We are seeking a well-rounded and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our growing company located in Irving, Texas. This permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year. The AP Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable process, which includes processing daily invoices, handling payments, and managing the AP inbox. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Sage 100 and Excel, which will be beneficial in performing the daily tasks associated with this role. In this position, the AP Specialist will be responsible for processing daily invoices, which involves verifying both purchase orders (POs) and non-POs invoices to ensure accurate inventory management. The role also requires processing payments, which includes printing checks, conducting check runs, and keying in ACH payments. The AP Specialist will need to balance and track spreadsheets using Excel, as well as research discrepancies through effective vendor communication. The ability to manage a high volume of emails in the AP inbox is essential, as the inbox can contain a significant number of messages daily. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong background in accounts payable functions. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will contribute to the overall efficiency of the company's financial operations.
