AP Team Lead

About the position

As an AP Team Lead at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the activities of the Asset Protection team within the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the store's assets, including inventory and personnel. You will lead a team of associates, providing guidance and support to ensure that all asset protection policies and procedures are followed effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. You will also be responsible for conducting investigations into theft and fraud, collaborating with law enforcement when necessary, and maintaining accurate records of incidents and investigations. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be expected to analyze data related to shrinkage and loss prevention, using this information to develop action plans that drive results. You will work closely with store management to create a culture of accountability and awareness regarding asset protection. Training and mentoring your team will be essential, as you will need to ensure that all associates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively. Your ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with both your team and other departments will be key to your success in this role. This position is full-time and offers competitive pay, with additional performance-based incentives. You will be working at Walmart Supercenter #2334 located at 2034 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA, 17602. The role may require you to work various shifts, depending on the needs of the store and your team's schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of the Asset Protection team within the store.
