McKinley is seeking an experienced and driven leader to take on the role of Community Manager. As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating positive change within the community, aiming to enrich the quality of life for both team members and residents while achieving financial results for the business. This role is part of McKinley's Owned Residential division, focusing on communities that are owned and operated as long-term assets. In this position, you will be actively engaged in the community, walking through the premises daily to ensure that residents love their homes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, organized, and well-cared-for environment, from the entrance of the community to the dumpster area. You will create a motivating atmosphere for employees, encouraging them to achieve challenging goals and meet high standards. As the Community Manager, you will be held accountable for the overall success of the community, which includes managing major operational components such as renewals, sales, apartment turns, expense control, resident work orders, and rent collections. This role requires a strong leader who is comfortable with supervising and guiding employees, transforming customer service challenges into positive outcomes, and making quick financial decisions within budgetary guidelines. You will be expected to foster a welcoming community that delights customers and builds loyalty, ensuring that the community operates smoothly and efficiently.
