About the position

As the Property Manager of Arlington Village, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and overall success of this 80-unit residential property. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the property, including leasing, collections, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and unit turns. Arlington Village is an 80-unit residential community located in the vibrant Devington/Lawrence neighborhood of Indianapolis. Our prime location offers easy access to I-465, making commuting throughout the city a breeze. With a focus on urban living and convenience, Arlington Village is a welcoming and thriving community that combines suburban charm with city accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the apartment complex, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
• Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
• Process rental applications and perform background checks on potential tenants
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
• Collect rent payments and handle any tenant inquiries or concerns
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests with maintenance staff or outside contractors
• Maintain a clean and organized office space
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track tenant interactions and lease agreements
• Upsell additional services or amenities to current tenants

Requirements

• Previous experience in property management or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of facilities management and property maintenance practices
• Familiarity with the Yardi property management system
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Proficient in administrative tasks such as record keeping and data entry
