About the position

The Apartment Leasing Agent at Stone Mountain Management is responsible for facilitating new resident lease sales and enhancing resident retention within a multi-family apartment community. This role requires strong customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The agent will work closely with onsite property management to ensure a smooth leasing process and maintain positive relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to promote new lease sales and lease renewals.
• Greet prospective residents and qualify applicants.
• Conduct community tours and show apartments.
• Process applications, conduct credit screenings, and prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Schedule property tours and follow up on leads for potential renters.
• Execute activities supporting the community's lease renewal program.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident and owner concerns and questions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of direct experience as a leasing agent or two or more years of related experience in Sales, Hospitality, or Customer Service.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States required.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) preferred.
• Knowledge of Multi-Family Housing software such as Onesite, Entrata, MRI, Blue Moon, and Yardi preferred.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
