About the position

We have a Leasing Agent position available at our Management Support property, Carrollton Park of North Dallas, which consists of 460 apartment units. Located at 18211 Kelly Blvd, Dallas, TX 75287, this role is ideal for individuals who are confident in their sales skills and personality, as these traits are expected to yield high productivity. We welcome applicants with transferable sales experience, as well as those with prior leasing experience from other management companies. The compensation for this position is based on experience and our anticipation of your performance, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $17.00 to $19.00, plus a leasing bonus. The full-time work schedule is 40 hours per week, which includes one or two weekend days. Weekend days may be rotated occasionally upon request, and some holidays are also included in the rotating schedule, with an additional paid day off during the same payroll period. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with English writing skills being essential. Higher education is considered a plus. The role requires comfort in handling phone inquiries that demonstrate property knowledge, managing a calendar of appointments, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good communication skills are crucial, and being bilingual in any language is an added advantage. Physical demands include the ability to climb three flights of stairs if no elevator is available. Many of our high-performing Leasing Agents have successfully advanced to higher positions within the company, such as Data Entry, Assistant Manager, and Apartment Manager roles, which come with increased responsibilities, skills, and wages.

Responsibilities

  • Handle phone inquiries and demonstrate property knowledge.
  • Manage calendar of appointments effectively.
  • Assist potential residents with leasing inquiries and tours.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident interactions.
  • Climb stairs as needed to show apartments or assist residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong English writing and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (any language) is a plus.
  • Sales experience or prior leasing experience preferred.
