About the position

We have a Leasing Agent position available at our Management Support property, which consists of 368 apartment units located at Villas at Parkside in Farmers Branch, TX. The role is designed for individuals who are confident in their sales skills and personality, as these attributes are expected to yield high productivity in leasing apartments. We welcome applicants with transferable sales experience, as well as those with prior leasing experience from other management companies. The compensation for this position is based on experience and anticipated performance, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $18 to $21, plus potential leasing bonuses. The full-time work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, which includes one or two weekend days that may be rotated occasionally upon request. Some holidays are also included in the rotating schedule, with an additional paid day off during the same payroll period. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with higher education being a plus. Strong English writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Good communication skills are necessary, and being bilingual in any language is considered an advantage. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for handling phone inquiries that demonstrate property knowledge, managing a calendar of appointments, and climbing three flights of stairs if no elevator is available. Responsibilities

  • Handle phone inquiries demonstrating property knowledge.
  • Manage calendar of appointments effectively.
  • Climb three flights of stairs if no elevator is available.
  • Assist potential residents with leasing inquiries and tours.
  • Maintain knowledge of property features and amenities.
  • Process leasing applications and related paperwork.
  • Follow up with prospective residents to encourage leasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and management for resident needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; higher education is a plus.
  • Experience in sales is preferred; leasing experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
