About the position

The Leasing Agent position at SAAR Management involves providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents while managing leasing activities for the property. The role focuses on maintaining tenant relationships, conducting property tours, and ensuring a smooth leasing process, with opportunities for growth and incentives.

Responsibilities

• Answer tenants' requests for maintenance and follow up on payments.
• Schedule showing appointments and answer questions about available units for rent.
• Prepare leases, notices, and various postings.
• Maintain tenant relationships and generate interest in the community.
• Tour the property with prospects and highlight amenities and community details.
• Assist prospects in qualifying for their new home by collecting necessary information and initiating background checks.
• Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data, assisting with computer data entry as needed.
• Ensure timely collection of fees and deposits from prospects and residents.
• Execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the property.
• Track leads via the CRM system and follow up with prospects.
• Deliver exceptional service to residents to exceed their expectations and maintain retention.
• Complete all aspects of the move-in process prior to lease signing.
• Ensure proper maintenance of resident files and escalate concerns to the Property Manager.
• Ensure tenant compliance with lease terms and building policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of apartment leasing experience.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment; internet navigation skills preferred.
• Knowledge of Yardi CRM is a huge plus.
• Spanish speaking is a big plus.

• Experience in property leasing preferred.
• Ability to commute to Jacksonville, FL 32211.
• Willingness to relocate to Jacksonville, FL 32211 before starting work.
