About the position

The Apartment Leasing Agent is a full-time role focused on attracting potential tenants and ensuring a positive rental experience. This position involves conducting apartment tours, handling lease agreements, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. The agent will also be responsible for addressing tenant concerns and maintaining the property’s appeal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment tours for potential tenants and highlight the features of each unit.
• Assist applicants in completing lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants and provide accurate information about available units, rental prices, and lease terms.
• Conduct thorough background checks on potential tenants and verify their employment and rental history.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, conduct inspections, and ensure that units are clean and well-maintained.
• Address tenant concerns and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Advertise available units using various marketing channels and assist with promotional events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Apartment Leasing Agent or similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of fair housing regulations.
• Familiarity with property management software is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
