About the position

The Apartment Leasing Agent role is a full-time position focused on managing rental properties and facilitating the leasing process. The agent will be responsible for showing properties to potential tenants, processing applications, and ensuring a positive tenant experience. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle various administrative tasks related to leasing and property management.

Responsibilities

• Show properties to potential tenants and process rental applications.
• Handle lease agreements and ensure timely rent collection.
• Manage late payments and address any payment issues.
• Address tenant complaints and resolve disputes to maintain positive relationships.
• Oversee the move-in and move-out processes, including property inspections and condition reports.
• Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and legal documentation.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of previous experience in property management is preferred, but entry-level candidates can apply.
• Outgoing and friendly attitude with the ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
