About the position

We have a Leasing Agent position at our Management Support property with 304 apartment units located at Las Colinas at Black Canyon Apartments, 34000 N. 27th Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85085. We are looking for applicants who are confident that their sales skills and personality will yield high productivity. This role is ideal for individuals who possess transferable sales experience or prior leasing experience at other management companies. Compensation is based on experience and our anticipation of your performance, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.50 to $19.50, plus potential leasing bonuses. The full-time work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, which includes 1 to 2 weekend days that may be rotated occasionally by request. Some holidays are also included in the rotating schedule, with another paid day off during the same payroll period. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with English writing skills being essential. Higher education is considered a plus. The role requires comfort in handling phone inquiries that demonstrate property knowledge and managing a calendar of appointments. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary, along with good communication skills. Bilingual candidates (any language) are preferred. Payroll is processed every two weeks with direct deposit to your checking account at no charge to the employee. Responsibilities

  • Handle phone inquiries demonstrating property knowledge.
  • Manage calendar of appointments effectively.
  • Assist potential residents with leasing inquiries and tours.
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident interactions.
  • Ensure the property is presented in a clean and welcoming manner.
  • Participate in community events to promote the property.
  • Follow up with prospective residents to encourage leasing decisions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in sales or leasing preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to climb 3 flights of stairs if no elevator is available.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in any language is a plus.
