About the position

The Apartment Leasing Manager is an entry-level role designed for experienced leasing agents looking to advance to an Assistant Manager position. This role focuses on coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and resident retention goals. The manager will engage in all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction and securing lease renewals.

Responsibilities

• Leases and markets vacant and upcoming apartments.
• Assists in the inspections of vacant apartments and prepares them for leasing.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of the property, amenities, and community.
• Conducts daily inspections of show apartments and model appearance.
• Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents and touring the property.
• Closes sales, processes applications, prepares leases, and follows up with prospects.
• Maintains an acceptable closing ratio to achieve optimum occupancy.
• Completes all leasing paperwork and compiles applications for approval.
• Explains lease and all appropriate addenda to new residents.
• Assists with resident relations and posts on social media.
• Shows apartments to prospective leases and accepts rental payments.
• Conducts market surveys and attends meetings as required.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Apartment Leasing (Required).
• 1 year of experience in Multifamily (Required).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).
• Reliable transportation for conducting market surveys and attending meetings.
