The Apartment Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and are natural problem solvers. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repair tasks, which include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units, as well as electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures. Additionally, the role involves plumbing, carpentry, and lock repairs. The Maintenance Technician will follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and will also follow up with residents after repairs are complete to ensure satisfaction.
