About the position

The Apartment Maintenance Technician at MAA Lake Lanier is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to ensure that apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of service and quality for residents, requiring problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellence in the multifamily housing industry.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule.
• Conduct follow-ups with residents after repairs are completed.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
