About the position

As a Maintenance Technician at True Property Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our apartment communities and facilities. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who is skilled in various maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. You will be responsible for completing service requests and work orders efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all maintenance issues are resolved promptly to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. Your daily responsibilities will include performing repairs on appliances, changing light bulbs, locks, and conducting exterior and interior painting, caulking, and drywall repairs. You will also be required to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as pressure washing and maintaining the cleanliness of breezeways and parking lots. This position requires you to be on-call for emergencies, responding within 45 minutes to assigned sites when necessary. A strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer service-oriented approach are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and upkeep of apartment communities and facilities as assigned.
  • Complete service requests and work orders efficiently.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Change bulbs and locks as needed.
  • Install and repair appliances.
  • Conduct exterior and interior painting, caulking, and drywall repair.
  • Lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 lbs.
  • Perform pressure washing and maintain cleanliness of breezeways and parking lots.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies within 45 minutes when on-call.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of maintenance experience required.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Dependable transportation to and from work.
