About the position
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property to ensure it meets quality maintenance standards. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring a high level of service for residents and guests. The technician will also participate in on-call rotations and assist in preparing the property for inspections and special events.
Responsibilities
- Maintain curb appeal and complete work order requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by the Community Manager.
- Complete the make-ready process within set timelines.
- Participate in the on-call rotation when assigned or necessary.
- Prepare the property for inspections, special occasions, and other events.
- Analyze supply and parts needs and report to the Community Manager.
- Adhere to all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of maintenance experience required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Knowledge and experience in trades such as Appliance Repair, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Flooring, Plumbing, Locksmith, and Painting.
Nice-to-haves
- Specialized training in safety, EPA Refrigerant, or other programs preferred.
