InterSolutions is seeking motivated and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Shawnee, KS. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17 to $21, depending on experience and qualifications. As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment communities. You will be responsible for completing service requests as directed by the maintenance supervisor or property manager, ensuring that all work is logged accurately and completed in a timely manner. Your expertise will help maintain the quality and safety of our living spaces, providing residents with a comfortable and well-maintained environment. In this role, you will manage vacant apartments by preparing them for new tenants through the turnover process. This includes cleaning, repairing, and ensuring that all necessary maintenance tasks are completed before new residents move in. You will also be responsible for keeping the grounds free of debris and trash, contributing to the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community. Excellent customer service is a key component of this position, as you will interact with residents and address their maintenance needs promptly and professionally. Your technical skills will be put to use as you resolve various maintenance issues, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs. You will be expected to service electrical circuits, light fixtures, and appliances, as well as perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs. The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb ladders is essential for this position, as you will be required to perform physical tasks in various locations throughout the apartment community. If you have a valid HVAC Certification, it will be considered a plus, enhancing your qualifications for this role.
