About the position

The Solomon Organization is seeking an experienced Apartment Sales and Leasing Manager for Somerset Park Apartments in Troy, MI. This role involves overseeing all leasing activities for a luxury apartment community with over 2,000 units, ensuring high occupancy rates and excellent customer service. The manager will lead a sales team, manage leasing operations, and collaborate with various departments to maintain property standards and achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of leasing for a 2,000+ unit luxury apartment community.
• Direct and motivate sales personnel to drive revenues and occupancy rates.
• Show apartments, take applications and deposits, and prepare leases.
• Monitor and evaluate advertising and marketing effectiveness.
• Conduct monthly market surveys of area competition.
• Train and manage staff under direction, including hiring and termination.
• Inspect common areas and vacant apartments for cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Assist in the preparation and control of the operating budget.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Leasing Manager or Property Manager for a residential community of 500+ units.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Experience with Yardi software.
• Management experience in property leasing or related field for at least 2 years.
• Valid Driver's License.
