About the position

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their Urology clinic. The role involves working closely with a Fellowship Trained Urogynecologist in an outpatient setting, focusing on both general and female urologic conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient evaluations, ongoing care, and performing various in-office procedures, while also participating in virtual health platforms.

Responsibilities

• Practice outpatient Urology with flexibility for hospital-based responsibilities.
• Assist the physician in evaluating and managing clinic patients.
• Perform histories and physical examinations on new patients.
• Provide ongoing care for assigned patients autonomously.
• Participate actively in virtual health platforms and screen patients for further healthcare needs.
• Perform in-office procedures and order necessary diagnostic studies.
• Evaluate and manage operative patients, including pre-operative testing and counseling.
• Provide post-operative care in the clinic.
• Learn office-based procedures such as PTNS, Testopel, catheter changes, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy, and pessary fitting and maintenance.
• Maintain EPIC documentation guidelines per clinic policy.

Requirements

• Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners.
• Current in BCLS and ACLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Flexibility to rotate to various satellite clinics.
