About the position

The API 510/570 Inspector at Intertek will be responsible for performing visual inspections and various non-destructive examinations under the guidance of a Project Manager or Team Leader, or independently. This role is crucial in ensuring asset integrity management throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure and equipment, contributing to the company's mission of providing Total Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Inspection reports and document data in a clear and timely manner
• Interface with the client on technical matters involving Inspection procedures and capabilities
• Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers
• Stay abreast of any new developments in API-certified Inspection that may be applicable in our business

Requirements

• Current API 510 and/or API 570 certification
• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• Valid TWIC card
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
• Excellent computer and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and driven individual
• Ability to apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures
• Ability to solve technical issues in the field

Nice-to-haves

• NDE and Drafting background
• CUI experience
• Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors
