About the position

Kforce has a client seeking an API Cloud Integration Developer in Grand Rapids, MI. The API Cloud Integration Developer will follow the company's software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. This role involves assisting in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents, as well as reviewing functional requirements, analysis, and design documents to provide feedback. Collaboration with other development staff is essential to achieve quality and consistency in the work produced. The developer will participate in architecture, design, and code reviews, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining operational and system-level documentation. Working with multiple teams to implement various integrations is a key part of the role. The API Cloud Integration Developer will validate changes in lower environments and successfully implement them in production. Additionally, the developer will review new integration requests and take timely action, attend brainstorming and troubleshooting sessions, and proactively identify gaps in the systems integrations. Reviewing incident tickets and work orders, and following up with users to ensure their concerns are addressed in a timely manner, are also part of the responsibilities. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with building and maintaining scalable integration with cloud platforms and various security tools such as OneIdentity and Azure.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
  • Experience with HR System integrations (Workday/SAP).
  • Functional knowledge of Active Directory Users and Groups.
  • Proficiency in XML and JSON.
  • RESTful API skills.
  • SQL and PowerShell skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and follow-up abilities.
