About the position

The API Developer (Java) position is focused on developing and supporting APIs within a hybrid work environment in the Dallas, TX area. The role requires expertise in both legacy and modernized technology stacks, particularly in Java and .NET Core frameworks. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing RESTful APIs, ensuring production support, and utilizing CI/CD practices for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support RESTful APIs using Java and .NET Core frameworks.
• Provide production support for legacy and modernized tech stack systems/applications.
• Implement design patterns and principles such as Object-Oriented, Domain-Driven, Service-Oriented Architecture, and Microservices.
• Utilize CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps and Jenkins for deployment.

Requirements

• Experience with legacy systems and modern technology stacks including C++, Java, and .NET.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and development using Microsoft .NET Core frameworks (C#).
• Familiarity with design patterns and principles such as OO, DD, SOA, and Microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
