We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our API-based applications, ensuring their security and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our innovative projects. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and building a wide variety of intuitive and consistent public Restful APIs. You will also consume third-party public APIs and ensure that our applications are secure and reliable. A solid understanding of the full stack of technologies needed to build and run an API from the ground up is essential. You will implement secure coding practices to build internet-facing software and create services that respond to RESTful API queries, retrieving data from internal sources. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will operate in a cloud-native environment, specifically using AWS, to deploy and manage applications. Additionally, you will apply zero-trust architecture and identity-based systems concepts to enhance our security posture. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, or Rust is required to succeed in this role.
