About the position

The API Developer will serve as the Technology Lead responsible for performing complex software activities, including systems analysis, specifications development, and testing of system interfaces between various business applications. This role requires expertise in API development services and collaboration with project teams to ensure effective communication and data exchange.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex software activities for projects.
• Serve as Technology Lead responsible for systems analysis and specifications development.
• Test system interfaces between several business applications.
• Create and manage APIs to enable data exchange and application communications.
• Work with software engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Plan and lead meetings with project teams.
• Provide technical assistance to Project Managers by documenting plans, schedules, status reports, and change requests.
• Provide detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python.
• Ability to accurately test software applications using a data-driven development approach.
• Experience with integrating web services across cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Familiarity with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools for data integration.
• SQL programming skills, including familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Sybase, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure SQL managed instances.
