About the position

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an experienced API Developer to join a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This hybrid role involves working both onsite and remotely, focusing on the design, documentation, and troubleshooting of data integration between various enterprise systems. The developer will collaborate with business units to gather requirements and ensure that integration solutions effectively meet those needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, documentation, and troubleshooting of data between enterprise systems.
• Work with business units to understand requirements for API integration.
• Collaborate closely with development staff to ensure integration solutions meet business needs.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in API development.
• Proficiency in SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Experience with OpenAPI standards and Swagger.
• Familiarity with API Gateways, particularly IBM DataPower or AWS API Gateway.
• 4 years of experience in API analysis and monitoring.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS services related to API development.
