About the position

Join AAA today and bring your proven experience to our Digital Services department! We are looking for an API Integration Developer in our corporate office in Bellevue! This is a hybrid role. As an API Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using MuleSoft or similar tools. You will implement RESTful and SOAP APIs to enable communication between different systems and applications, ensuring SPI security by implementing authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms. Your role will also involve optimizing API performance and scalability to handle high volumes of requests. Collaboration with software engineers and architects will be key as you integrate APIs into existing systems and applications. Additionally, you will conduct API testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, and document APIs, including specifications, usage guidelines, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using MuleSoft or similar tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience in API development and security standards, such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
