The API Integration Developer with IBM IIB/ACE position at MSys Inc. is a long-term role based in Durham, North Carolina, designed for a Senior Integration Engineer. This role involves providing hands-on support for applications utilizing IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple technical, business, and testing efforts, which includes gathering requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and supporting the go-live and post-implementation phases. The position is expected to last for an initial period of one year, with the potential to extend for over four years, reflecting the long-term nature of the project. In this role, the Integration/Interface engineer will be tasked with the development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on IIB/ACE technology and/or MuleSoft. Candidates must possess experience with the latest versions of IIB, specifically App Connect Enterprise (ACE v11/12), and have a solid understanding of architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, and integration best practices. Additionally, familiarity with automation tools or scripts to streamline repetitive tasks is highly desired. The position requires a strong technical background, particularly in data modeling, OLAP design, and the implementation of APIs and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integration via web services and API management, as well as hands-on experience in building integration patterns and processes for managing, deploying, and supporting APIs. A solid understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, and Flat Files (CSV, Fixed Width) is also essential, along with troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experience with the AWS cloud platform is a plus, as is proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, Python, Perl, and Bash.
