Our client, a major bank in New York City, is seeking a talented API Integration Developer to join their Compliance Team. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $150,000 to $190,000, plus a target bonus. The role is hybrid, requiring up to two days per week in the office, allowing for a flexible work environment that balances in-person collaboration with remote work. As an API Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance APIs that facilitate seamless integration between various software systems. You will also manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance optimization. Utilizing Mulesoft's Anypoint Platform, you will design and implement integration solutions that connect different applications and data sources. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and Python, adhering to CI/CD practices. You will participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Troubleshooting and debugging will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as you will need to identify and resolve technical issues to ensure the reliability and performance of the software.
