In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using MuleSoft or similar tools. Your primary focus will be on implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs to facilitate seamless communication between various systems and applications. You will also ensure the security of these APIs by implementing robust authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms. As an API Integration Developer, you will optimize API performance and scalability to manage high volumes of requests effectively. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with software engineers and architects to integrate APIs into existing systems and applications. Additionally, you will conduct thorough API testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues that may arise. Documentation is also a critical aspect of your responsibilities, as you will be required to document APIs, including specifications, usage guidelines, and best practices to ensure clarity and usability for future developers. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of four years of experience in API development and familiarity with security standards such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS is essential.
