About the position

The API Management / APIGEE Developer role focuses on ensuring API compliance and management within the organization. The developer will work closely with application owners to strategize and implement plans for API compliance, while also providing monthly reports to upper management regarding the status of APIs. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in API platforms and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application owners to develop a plan for API compliance with PNC.
• Generate monthly reports to provide an overview of API compliance to upper management.
• Establish a central repository for API inventory, including classification, ownership, and rating.
• Utilize API platforms such as Apigee and DataPower for effective API management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in API management.
• Proficiency in establishing a central repository for API inventory.
• Experience with API platforms, specifically Apigee and DataPower.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Confluence and other API management products.
• Experience with Apache.
