As a GCP Apigee API Developer at Accenture, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of cloud-native APIs built on Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) Apigee EDGE API management platform. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to lead innovation for our clients through the delivery of world-class solutions. You will be responsible for developing and delivering cloud-native API solutions that cater to the high demand in areas such as AI/ML, IoT, advanced analytics, open source, enterprise collaboration, microservices, and serverless architectures. Your work will involve collaborating with customers, cloud partners, and internal teams to evaluate and support new technologies and industry-specific use cases based on client needs. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and agile team, where you will design, build, test, and lead the development of cloud-native APIs using the Google Cloud Platform Apigee EDGE platform. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting client initiatives, contributing to innovative problem-solving and utilizing current digital transformation trends. Your responsibilities will include creating value for Accenture's clients through effective collaboration with application owners, developers, stakeholders, and strategic partners during the API development process. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving issues with pre-production and production services, ensuring that the solutions you deliver are scalable and high-performing. The position requires a strong commitment to continuous learning and curiosity about new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and market offerings that may benefit our clients. You will be expected to adapt existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems, while also understanding the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Your primary upward interaction will be with your direct supervisor, but you may also interact with peers and management levels at both the client and Accenture. This role may require travel, with expectations ranging from 25% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
