About the position

The App Support Analyst I position at Space Coast Credit Union involves providing technical support and assistance for various applications used within the organization. This role serves as a key point of contact for resolving complex computer-related issues, ensuring that end users can effectively utilize the systems in place. The analyst will also collaborate with IT staff, developers, and vendors to enhance application functionality and user experience, while maintaining documentation and providing after-hours support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides an escalation point of contact for IT staff assisting users with complex computer-related problems.
• Handles unresolved trouble calls from other support personnel.
• Serves as a technical liaison between IT and other departments, vendors, or outside agencies to resolve problems.
• Assists end users with questions and problems on assigned systems.
• Analyzes and evaluates incident reports and makes recommendations to reduce recurrence of problems.
• Consults with developers or software vendors to explain software errors or recommend changes.
• Confers with staff, users, vendors, and department managers to determine requirements for new or modified applications.
• Tests new applications for usability and proper function.
• Revises, analyzes, and modifies existing applications to fulfill business needs.
• Supports the administration of business applications and assists in implementing new systems or changes to existing systems.
• Ensures the availability of user-friendly documentation on SCCU software applications.
• Provides after-hours on-call support for critical production systems.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of computing and application support experience or a combination of applicable experience, education, and training required.
• Associate's degree in a technology-related course of study or equivalent specialized training in a recognized technical program or vocational school required.
• Microsoft certifications are preferred.
