About the position

The Application System Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the EpicCare Ambulatory module within Conemaugh Health System. This position involves coordinating with team members and subject matter experts to maintain and enhance the electronic health record (EHR) system. The analyst will be responsible for system configuration, testing, report development, and implementing updates to improve the value of various information systems. Additionally, the role includes user support and may require off-hours on-call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support contact for the EpicCare Ambulatory module.
• Coordinate with team members and subject matter experts to support the integrated EHR system.
• Responsible for system configuration, builds, testing, and report development.
• Implement updates to enhance the organizational value of information systems.
• Participate in the implementation of new applications and upgrades of existing systems.
• Provide status information to the application manager.
• Engage in project planning, testing, training, and implementation activities.
• Provide user support and off-hours on-call support as needed.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or current Epic certification with an agreement to complete the degree in three years.
• Applicable vendor certification upon completion of training.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts, and maintain issues lists.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Interest in developing mastery-level knowledge of assigned applications and their interactions.
