About the position

The Apparel Graphic Artist at Airwaves LLC is responsible for creating trend-driven apparel graphics for various licensed properties and sports teams. This role involves collaboration with the creative team to develop artwork that aligns with current fashion and pop-culture trends, while also meeting franchise needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong graphic design skills and a keen understanding of the apparel industry.

Responsibilities

• Create on trend and customer appropriate artwork under direction of the Art Director/Manager.
• Work within and understand franchise needs when designing.
• Present artwork and communicate the thought process behind it.
• Create line sheets and CAD updates.
• Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine and perfect designs.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and design techniques to continuously improve skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements

• BA Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• An online portfolio of illustrations and graphics is required
• Worked at least 3 years or more in an office environment
• Experience in the garment industry required
• Experience in Sports designs required
