About the position

The Appian Business Analyst role at Coforge is designed for an experienced IT professional who will work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize tasks and clarify requirements. This position involves project planning, gap analysis, stakeholder coordination, and active participation in testing and issue resolution. The analyst will document current systems, analyze business requirements, and ensure thorough testing of systems according to specifications. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work with the Product Owner and clarify requirements.
• Perform project planning and tracking, including gap analysis.
• Coordinate with different teams and stakeholders.
• Assist in testing and resolve issues actively.
• Participate in workshops to clarify requirements and scope definition.
• Conduct walkthroughs and secure signoffs to finalize documentation.
• Document the current state of systems or processes linked to the project.
• Analyze business requirements and maintain effective relationships with system SMEs.
• Participate in test phases to ensure thorough testing according to requirements.
• Create applicable documentation such as system documents.
• Support the Project Manager in completing Non-Functional Requirements (NFR).
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the business strategy.
• Write detailed Jira stories and understand Agile practices.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in information technology as a Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel, Word, PPT, and Visio.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
