About the position

The Appian Developer position is focused on developing and managing applications on the Appian platform, utilizing low-code automation solutions. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to enhance business processes and involves a strong software development background, preferably in Java. The developer will follow Agile practices and ensure the applications are well-documented and tested.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-code automation solutions using Appian.
• Configure processes, rules, UI, and data integrations.
• Develop data models and integrate with enterprise services.
• Follow Agile practices for flexible and responsive development.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and system monitoring.
• Stay updated on platform features and best practices.
• Document application designs and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficient in software development life cycle and Java/JavaScript.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Hibernate or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and ETL processes.
