GovCIO is currently seeking an Appian Frontend Development Lead to collaborate and implement with cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering impactful features. This pivotal role will help coordinate the development efforts across different departments to ensure timely and efficient feature rollouts. This position is fully remote and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS). The Appian Frontend Developer Lead will provide guidance on Appian product configuration, mapping of requirements and rulesets to Appian objects and process flow, design review, performance testing, scaling, and industry-specific knowledge. In this role, you will provide expert leadership and guidance on projects including enterprise application architecture, design review, technical mentorship, and industry-specific knowledge. You will oversee and guide both problem analysis and technical solution implementation through final testing and knowledge transfer. Leading a team of Appian Consultants, you will ensure timely delivery in project-related tasks. You will be responsible for designing and creating high-level solutions, implementing these solutions for customers by understanding their requirements, and driving the same with the development team. Additionally, you will review and guide project teams in the areas of Appian BPM Solution design, process modeling, solution development, system and application integration approaches, deployment, and optimization. You will also be responsible for developing components and artifacts in the areas of Appian Solution design, process modeling, solution development, system and application integration approaches, deployment, and optimization. Liaising with customers to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical design and implementation will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will produce rulesets, configurations, process workflows, and technical solutions for development and support requirement gathering sessions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will develop a deep understanding of the client enterprise while leading large, multi-year program initiatives. You will create and maintain business process and technical documentation including workflows, architecture diagrams, interface diagrams, and design best practices. Participation in meetings with clients, business analysis teams, and internal technical and operational teams will also be expected. Extensive knowledge of Appian's application proprietary Case Management and Business Process Management software is essential, along with practical experience in the use of automated tools to support configuration management efforts. This role requires you to provide leadership on process improvement, mentorship, training, and enablement of resources, ensuring that best practices are implemented across the entire software development life cycle.
