About the position

The Appian Senior Technical Architect at Coforge is responsible for leading the development and support of BPM-based solutions using the Appian platform. This role requires extensive experience in application support, system integration, and the development of mobile and portal applications. The architect will ensure application performance and availability while managing stakeholder expectations and providing technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead application support engagement and monitor application performance.
• Track progress and report metrics related to application availability.
• Develop and support BPM-based solutions using Appian technologies.
• Integrate systems and develop mobile and portal applications using the Appian suite.
• Provide hands-on support for incident and problem management in production environments.
• Design and implement Appian plug-ins and manage system integrations in both in-house and cloud-hosted environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Appian application support and development.
• Proven skills in Appian versions 19.x, 20.x, and 21.x.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), HTML, XML, and JSON.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Rally.
• Appian L2 certification or above is required.
• Strong problem-solving and design skills with hands-on experience in Appian development.
• Good understanding of Appian architecture, best practices, and BPMN standards.

• Experience in UX design and stakeholder management.
