About the position

As the AppleCare BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the AppleCare Supply Chain & Logistics Portfolio. This position is crucial for driving complex changes across the AppleCare organization and beyond, ensuring that innovative ideas are transformed into extraordinary products and services. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of project and program managers who are dedicated to initiatives that align with the goals of AppleCare's Supply Chain and Logistics functions. Your leadership will guide the team in project prioritization, technological solutions, resource planning, and effective communication with various stakeholders across Apple. In this role, you will perform all leadership activities for your staff, which includes recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development. You will manage project prioritization and allocate personnel to projects while balancing business needs with global and regional resource plans. Your responsibilities will also encompass leading and supervising projects, ensuring that they are implemented according to Apple's standard methodologies in project management. You will delegate tasks, communicate project statuses, manage risks, and ensure readiness for change, conducting post-implementation audits to assess project outcomes. Building positive relationships with key partners is essential, as you will need to communicate regularly to ensure the quality of products and services. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will bridge the gap between business and technology groups, ensuring that business project requirements are met with innovative and scalable technology solutions. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for business process re-engineering and build strategic alliances to enable key change initiatives, proposing and implementing strategic organizational initiatives within AppleCare BPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the AppleCare Supply Chain & Logistics Portfolio.
• Perform leadership activities including recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Manage project prioritization and allocate personnel to projects.
• Lead and supervise projects while incorporating Apple's standard methodologies in project management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and communicate project status clearly.
• Manage project risks and ensure change readiness.
• Conduct post-implementation audit reviews.
• Develop positive relationships and communicate regularly with key partners.
• Act as a subject matter expert between business and technology groups.
• Identify and consult on business process re-engineering opportunities.
• Propose and implement strategic AppleCare BPR organizational initiatives.

Requirements
