About the position

The AppleCare Business Operations team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Worldwide Demand Planner. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to leverage their business acumen, technical skills, project management expertise, and analytical capabilities to deliver timely and relevant demand forecasts for a segment of the AppleCare business. The ideal candidate will be confident in collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing analytics to enhance forecasting methods. They will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying significant trends, and adapting to the ever-evolving demand landscape. Effective communication of data analysis and forecast impacts to a broad audience of internal AppleCare customers is essential. The candidate should be a creative problem solver, passionate about building, maintaining, and driving innovative processes and methods to ensure outstanding customer service. In this role, sound planning decisions will be made and supported by analysis and insights backed by data. The team will conduct root cause analyses and develop mitigation plans for any unexpected demand changes. The Worldwide Demand Planner will work closely with team members from Engineering, Procurement, Channels, Readiness, Capacity Planning, and Supply Planning to implement the most cost-effective supply chain solutions for AppleCare. A leadership role in standardizing deliverables and ensuring adherence to commitments will be a key responsibility of this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand forecasting and planning for a segment of the AppleCare business.
• Analyze large amounts of data to identify significant trends and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Communicate data analysis and forecast impacts to a broad audience of internal customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Channels, Readiness, Capacity Planning, and Supply Planning.
• Conduct root cause analyses and develop mitigation plans for unexpected demand changes.
• Standardize deliverables and ensure adherence to commitments.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience in demand planning or forecasting within a supply chain environment.
