About the position

The Apple Vision Pro Technical Project Manager will oversee the development and deployment of innovative demo experiences for the Apple Vision Pro. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to bring new technologies to life, ensuring high-quality customer experiences while managing cross-functional teams and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Driving new innovative software technologies from concept to reality, executing deliverables against defined timelines in an ambiguous cross-functional environment
  • Working with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to deliver Apple Vision Pro demo experiences around the world
  • Leading all aspects of demo and supporting technology at multiple large scale events around the world
  • Developing project plans, work-back timelines and release schedules
  • Supporting the testing and deployment of software projects or new demo experiences
  • Leading the day-to-day technical operations of the Apple Vision Pro demo experience
  • Maintaining surprise-and-delight for customers during product launches
  • Collecting feedback, metrics, and insights to drive new requirements and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 6+ years in a technical or project management role, preferably leading highly cross-functional software projects
  • Deep expertise of the Apple Ecosystem, including macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, VisionOS, Apple hardware, and Apple Services
  • Demonstrated history of networking experience and/or technical troubleshooting
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer focus and relationship-building skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive projects forward
  • Strong curiosity and dedication to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), asset management, or iOS device deployment
  • History working with prototype hardware and software
  • Experience using Terminal and Command Line
  • Prior experience working in a retail store environment or in a quality assurance engineering role
