About the position
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver with Appliance Delivery and Installation experience to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations efficiently and safely, ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner
- Plan delivery routes to ensure the most efficient use of time
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid/clean driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- 1 year of delivery driver experience
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- Experience with a 26ft box truck
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
- Basic numerical reasoning skills
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Proficient in route driving and navigation
- Ability to operate manual/automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong customer service skills
- White glove experience
