About the position
The Delivery Helper will be responsible for transporting goods and materials, specifically appliances, to various locations efficiently and safely. This role requires previous experience in appliance delivery and installation, ensuring excellent customer service during the delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers in a timely manner
- Plan delivery routes to ensure the most efficient use of time
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Requirements
- Must have Appliance Delivery and Installation experience
- Possess valid/clean driver's license
- Ability to pass a federal background check
- At least 18 years of age
- Home delivery experience such as appliances and furniture
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
- Basic numerical reasoning skills
- Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a Delivery Helper or in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills
- Capability to load and unload goods safely
- White glove experience preferred
