About the position

We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team, responsible for assembling, installing, and servicing various appliances and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, be adept at interpreting schematics, and possess excellent customer service skills to ensure high standards of quality and customer satisfaction during the installation process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install appliances and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on installed equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical components.
• Operate a box truck for transportation of equipment to job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during the installation process.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and appliance servicing.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems and appliances.
• Previous experience as a service technician is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for operating a box truck.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with installing major home appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves.
• Familiarity with connecting water, gas, and electrical lines.
• Experience with using specialized tools for appliance installation.
