As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Supervise junior staff members when required, offering guidance and support to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and product displays.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register.
• Basic math skills; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
