The Applications Administrator will manage, support, and optimize the application landscape within the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and availability of applications, providing user support, and maintaining system health. Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support a variety of applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support to users.
  • Monitor application performance and system health, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Assist in the configuration, installation, and deployment of new applications and system upgrades.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure applications meet business needs and align with strategic goals.
  • Provide training and support to users on application functionalities and best practices.
  • Ensure applications adhere to security policies and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in application administration or a related role.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages or technologies, if applicable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves
