About the position

The Application Analyst for Financial & Administrative Systems is responsible for providing operational support and problem resolution for healthcare IT systems, particularly focusing on device integration and the GE Carescape gateway application. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, ensuring compliance with change management processes, and delivering high-quality customer service. The position is onsite at a healthcare facility in West Hills, CA, and is expected to last for one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and problem resolution for financial and administrative systems.
• Respond to high or urgent priority service requests and incidents to meet departmental SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with local Change Management processes for IT environment changes.
• Participate in the implementation of new technology, including staff training and change management.
• Troubleshoot and identify hardware and software problems for networked components and workstations.
• Assist in monitoring, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and optimizing application components.
• Execute disaster recovery procedures as required.
• Coordinate on-site device integration application hardware/software installations.
• Install, test, and evaluate hardware and software as necessary.
• Ensure Service Requests, Catalog Tasks, and Incidents are managed according to departmental OLA.
• Update and maintain the Service-Now Configuration Module Database accurately.
• Check open tickets to ensure timely resolution of problems.
• Serve as a role model for embracing operational changes associated with new initiatives.
• Escalate issues to management as defined by SLAs.
• Lead or participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
• Participate in e-waste tasks and maintain IT equipment.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as an Application Analyst.
• 3 years of experience in device integration.
• 2 years of experience with the GE Carescape gateway application.
• Strong knowledge of clinical and business applications such as GE Health, Welch Allyn, and Capsule.
• Understanding of Networking and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019 and above.
• Ability to understand and work with technical documentation and project plans.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and ticket tracking systems like ServiceNow.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Capsule SmartLinx, Welch Allyn Connex, and GE Health Carescape Gateway software.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
• Familiarity with IT Security applications like Imprivata and DUO.
